asymmetry> the shot is equally asymmetrical or unbalanced on both sides. often used in a film to show disorder, chaos or various objects, characters or subjects.

the rule of third is a compositional rule in visuals arts such as painting, photography, film and design.
the rule states that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced.
